 You will be a member of the Information Systems Team, working in a challenging environment supporting business in day to day operations as well as facilitating business changes. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, maintain, continuously improve and support the internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and telecoms systems.  This role will be a major stakeholder in the successful delivery and performance of IT services for our internal clients and the fulfillment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets. 

Cover the IT Support Helpdesk, providing responsive, consistent, high-quality support to our end-users and meeting service targets
Deploy, configure, test and support the desktops, laptops, systems software, applications software and mobile phones used at Trayport
Monitor and support servers, networking systems and telecoms systems
Adhere to IS policies, processes, procedures and checklists at all times
Help ensure that key systems are available 24 hours a day, and that business continuity is assured in the event of disruptions
Manage long-term projects and smaller ad hoc tasks concurrently, and track time spent accurately.



Degree educated 
Broad knowledge and understanding of all aspects of computing and networking, and good troubleshooting skills
In-depth experience of Microsoft desktop products, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, MS Office
A solid understanding of TCP/IP, Microsoft network infrastructure and wireless networking 
A good understanding of Active Directory, policies, permissions and user management
Ability to work in pressured environments, to manage time, prioritise work and complete multiple tasks effectively

Prior knowledge or experience of setting-up, configuring and supporting Windows Server products and networks (including Active Directory, security, backup, replication) and Exchange would be highly advantageous.
