Business Systems 
You will be a member of the Business Systems Team, responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Trayport’s range of internal systems critical to supporting the business processes. You will be fully involved in the entire lifecycle of Trayport’s internal systems from development through to deployment, working in a small agile team.

This role focusses on the management of various datasources including the design, automation of data collection and analysis. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, including the Analysis Team and Client Relations to automate manual processes and provide data intelligence. The role will involve

Automating and maintaining data collection from 3rd party sources
Designing and implementing suitable relational database solutions
Providing user support and report generation
Writing robust, maintainable code
Performing code reviews
Designing and creating dashboards in Trayport’s Business Intelligence tools; Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Tableau 
Contributing to team prioritisation and backlog management

A university degree ideally within Computer Science or technical equivalent 
Experience of the .Net framework and writing C# code (ideal but you would need to want to learn this language)
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in writing TSQL queries
Solid understanding of relational databases
Interest in markets, both commodity and financial, and an appetite to learn
Excellent communication, both written and oral
